Welcome to Jimmy's Jobs of the Future. As regular listeners will know, we occasionally

interview politicians on the show. Previously, we've had Rishi Soonak, Nadim Zawahi and

Ben Houchan on the show. In my mind, they all have interesting jobs, and they bear responsibility

for creating economic conditions, which allow business and entrepreneurs to create jobs.

And that is why I was really pleased that the business, energy and industrial strategy,

secretary, grant-shaps agreed to come on. We recorded this interview last Monday afternoon,

and I said to the team, after the interview, I get nervous about interview and politicians,

because things can change so quickly. But it's okay, because I think we live in more stable times

now. And then four hours later, the sun reported that there was going to be the first major

rejig of government departments. And this meant a nervous 12-hour wait to see what happened.

Fortunately, Grant has held on to a sizable portion of his brief, becoming the energy and net zero

secretary. And he and his team are very gracious saying that we should still go ahead and publish

the episode as normal. Although I think the phrase, don't worry, it's all more stable now,

it's going to go down the folklore of the Jimmy's jobs team. Grant's new department is a

I still wanted to share this important episode with you. Grant Chaps is a politician who had

an entrepreneurial career before entering parliament, and has had a pretty incredible life story,
