Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Ben Simmons was done in

Philly that he would not report the training camp.

Yesterday guru Adrian Wojranowski, he said the same thing, Woads saying that Simmons is pretty much done in Philly

and that he is prepared to hold out for as long as it takes to facilitate a trade.

So I go back to Sacramento Sacramento why not roll the dice and go after Ben

Simmons yes there are some issues the first issue is that he doesn't want to honor

his contract which has multiple years remaining that That would concern me. The second issue is he

can't shoot. Yes, that would concern me. But he does everything so well. He's been part of a

50-plus win team. He's a tremendous defensive player, he's young, and he's

got multiple years left on his deal.

That gives a team like Sacramento, time to entice him to show him that something good is building and get him to stay.

So that's the way I look at that.

Now I would say this about Ben Simmons.

Good luck when you go back to Philadelphia for the first time.

Because the fans, I mean, if you think that they've been bad in the past,

you have no idea how ruthless they're gonna be

when you step onto the floor in Philly wearing a different uniform.
