yesterday I did a rant regarding Ben Simmons, the Philadelphia

Inquirer reporting that he doesn't want to be in Philadelphia anymore and that he's

not even going to report to training camp later this month

if he hasn't been traded yet.

And I said the Sacramento Kings need to roll the dice.

Go after an all-star.

All right, it's not working right now.

You got to shake things up and you got to gamble a little bit. And I got a lot of comments. And first of all, I appreciate the heck

of the people that take the time to leave a comment, and I do my very best to get back

to each and every one. But the majority of the comments said, yeah, but not if it includes Tyrese Halliburton. And I'm like, wait a minute, really? Why the hell not? I mean, Tyrese is a good player, had an outstanding rookie year, his ceiling is very high, but

Ben Simmons is just 25 years of age.

He's been an all-star each of the last three seasons, and the last two years he was first all

NBA team defense that's pretty damn good isn't it and yes I'm very well aware

that he has shooting deficiencies that he can't even attempt to shoot the three he's not good from the foul d'

that he can't even attempt to shoot the three, he's not good from the foul line, I get all of that.

But he does so many other things well, and think about this, he's been an all-star
