Boy it must be nice to be a professional athlete and you can get suspended and suspended and suspended and

suspended one more time for violating the League substance abuse policy

and then no problem you can go right back to work. I read yesterday on

E.S.p.com that the NFL PA has given the green light for Josh Gordon to come

back and now they are awaiting approval from Roger Guiddell and the NFL.

Now, when you talk about Gordon, you are talking about a guy that has been suspended six times,

five for violating the League's substance abuse policy. He is 30 years of age. No problem.

He has talked about his support group now, his friends and his family, and you know what?

I'm sympathetic to those that are dealing with an addiction issue

I'm blessed I'm grateful I have not had to deal with that so I don't know what it's like

and I am sympathetic I am trying to understand what that must be like but I believe that playing in the National Football League is a privilege and it is not a right and how many freaking chances does somebody get I'm okay with second chances and under certain

circumstances I'm okay with a third chance but now seven chances after being

suspended six times, five for violating the substance abuse policy,

and here's something else. What general manager is going to take a chance on a guy that has let down

his team year in and year out because he

can't stay away from his addictive issue.

I hate it.
