Zach Johnson decided to go with Brooks-Kepka.

I have no problem with that.

It's the United States versus Europe, okay?

Brooks-Kepka is the United States citizen. He is clearly one of the top golfers in the

United States want a major this past year. So I don't have a problem with the fact

that he's on the live golf tour that should prevent him from representing the US in the

writer cup. No, again, it's the United States. Now as far as Justin Thomas, I

think many people love Justin Thomas. He is a fan favorite, okay? He's an easy guy to root for.

But how is it that Thomas is on the writer-cup team ahead of somebody like Kagan Bradley.

I mean if you look at the last four tournaments that Thomas has played and he has had a

nightmarish year on the PGA tour, three missed cuts and 60th in another. that's the guy that you're selecting to go play

for the United States on the writer-cup team because of past writer-cups.

Golf doesn't work that way. You know, you see it all the time. Look at

Ricky Fowler who is on the writer-cup team. Ricky couldn't play golf at all for a

couple of years, right? When I mean mean play I mean he wasn't competitive he was missing cuts he was not relevant well he got his game back he found this game and he had an outstanding year we saw it a couple of years ago with Jordan Speeth,
