Jaren Duran, MVP of the All-Star game last month,

serving a two-game suspension for getting into it

with a fan using an anti-gay slur called him an effing F.

So Major League Baseball gives him a two-game suspension.

If you remember, four years ago, Tom Brenneman uttered a anti-gay

slur on a hot mic. He was fired by the Cincinnati Reds and by Fox Sports where he

was an announcer in the National Football League for Fox.

Thankfully, Tom has finally gotten employment as he will be calling college football

this fall.

Now I'm not saying that Duran should lose his job. What I am

saying is do you see where we're at now in 2024 that you know what if you say

something and you know you made a mistake like

Duran has come out and acknowledged his mistake he has been very honest about

what he said. He has shown remorse the same way Tom Brenneman did, but

Tom lost his career as the TV announcer for the Reds and the NFL on Fox. That's right. Career over. Done, right?

Don't you think we should analyze this a little bit more? Yes, it was a disgusting slur that Duran used towards the fan.

No one is going to debate that. But shouldn't people be entitled to make a mistake and come back from it?

I mean a two-game suspension, I've got no problem with it.

As I said, actions speak louder than words. Let's see how Duran handles this going
