Remember John Tay Porter? Yeah, that's right the guy that was with the Toronto Raptors who was banned from

the NBA in April and will be sentenced in December. He could be facing three and a

half to over four years in prison. Why?

Because he was betting on NBA games and prop pets.

So I guess he thought that after only a few months,

it would be okay to resume a professional career over in Greece.

Uh-uh not so fast a federal George said uh-uh you are not going to resume a career over in Greece.

I mean, how unbelievable is this?

I don't know if I should be more appalled at the team in Greece that wanted Porter to play or just appalled at Porter and his lack of just common sense and reality.

Can we at least wait a year? Can we at least wait until you're sentenced? I mean really?

You want to go resume your professional basketball career and you want to do it over

in Europe thinking that gee it's okay I bet on MBA games I embarrassed myself my team in the league

Yeah, no problem. I got a lifetime ban, but I can go over and play in Greece. How awful is that?

Seriously, how freaking awful is that? Again, can we at least

wait until December 18th when he is scheduled to be sentenced in New York? Unbelievable.

A big boo to the team in Greece, shame on them for having Porter even on their radar and shame on Porter for his ignorance and it is absurdity thinking that only a couple of months after he's banned in the

NBA that he can just go play in Greece.

You know again you just can't make some things up.
