Summary

Today's rant should not exist. There. I said it. This is something that could only happen in today's crazed social environment and it appears that Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers is taking the heat. He's getting blasted for his comments on the acceptance of a few names for head coach of which Chauncey Billups was one. Evidently, there was a sexual misconduct charge that was settled through a civil action over 20 years ago. And Damian was supposed to have known this? He was about 7 or 8 years old at the time. Yet, here we go again from those who have nothing better to do than dig around and make a stink by accusing him of endorsing a sexual perpetrator. You have got to be kidding me. I lay it all out as best I can tell in today's rant but don't be surprised if this is enough for Damian to push for a trade that has already been offered by the NY Knicks. What a shame.
