Summary

First, a special Thank You to those who fought for our freedom and paid the ultimate price as we honor and remember those lost in service to our country this Memorial Day.  Now, Naomi Osaka, one of the hottest players in tennis has decided she is not going to talk with the media.  And in some sports, that may be fine.  But in tennis, it is not.  It's an obligation and part of the rules.  Less time with the media means more time to possibly gain an advantage with other players who are following the rules.  But no, Ms Osaka has a health problem.   A mental health issue that she claims is going to need to be catered to and therefore, no media.  Hmmm.  But playing tennis is front of 20,000 fans doesn't bother you?  What do I know?  So those responsible have not only fined her $15,000 for not showing up for the media, she may default from playing.  That's going to be interesting to see how this one gets handled.  And I've got a few more observations up my sleeve you'll want to hear in today's rant.  Have a great Memorial Day celebration with friends and family and be safe.   Learn more about your ad choices.
