Another unwatchable game last night between Boston and Miami,

game four in Beentown.

For all intents and purposes, the game was over five minutes into the first

quarter. The problem is this has been more of the norm rather than the

exception. I mean look at the previous round with Miami in Philadelphia the games were just horrible

there have been so many bad games in the NBA playoffs this year which begs the question

why is that is it an aberration or does analytics factor into this the fact that teams are

shooting threes and when you make your threes it's great and when you don't make

your threes you're down and out and you're going to get blown out.

I like what Jerry Reynolds suggested years ago to me.

He said get rid of the corner three.

It's too easy of a shot for an NBA player.

And you see teams come down on fast breaks they give up
