Tonight the Eastern Conference Finals begins, game one, Indiana at Boston.

And I don't know about you, but watching the games with Mike Breen is not as enjoyable this year

Now let me make full disclosure Mike is a very good friend of mine and I think Mike is the freaking best it has nothing to do with Mike. It's who he's working with.

No disrespect to Doris Burke and J.J. Reddick. I mean it's professional, but it's nowhere near the same

entertainment. It's not as informative, it's not as critical as when

Breen was with Van Gundy and Mark Jackson. I do not understand still why the

network decided that Van Gundy and Jackson were not worth paying them what they

deserved. I mean the networks throw away money left and right on worthless talent and then

you've got someone like Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson and you don't want to pay them?

I mean, it's still to this day makes no sense.

I just don't enjoy watching the games as much.

And again, it's professional, but it's just not the same.

Tough shoes to fill for Burke and Reddick alongside Breen.

Breen good friends with Jackson, good friends with Van Gundy,

and unfortunately for Mike, the telecast has suffered.

Played and simple, it's suffered.
