Summary

On Monday West Virginia men's basketball coach Bob Huggins went on a Cincinnati talk show and used a homophobic slur not once, but twice. Huggins was talking about the Cincinnati-Xavier rivalry and said "What it was, was all those f-gs, those Catholic f-gs, I think." West Virginia has issued a statement and said they are reviewing the situation. What's there to review? This isn't a Ben Mintz, or Glen Kuiper situation, both of who uttered the n-word in the past week. It was obvious the intent of Mintz, formerly of Barstool and Kuiper, the TV voice of the A's was not one of hatred. In the case of Huggins, how could anyone defend his comments?
