Yesterday, there was a lot of talk about what happened Tuesday in San Francisco with just over three minutes left when Doug Christie asked his team to

intentionally foul Seth Curry even though the Kings were in the penalty leading by one at that

point. Now, the word tanking has become the most popular word in the NBA and there's no question

that teams tank and I would also include the Sacramento Kings among those teams.

But anyone that thinks that Doug Christie is going to intentionally lose a game with three

minutes left to go in the fourth quarter or at any other time in the game doesn't know Doug.

Now I've been very critical of Doug. I don't think he's the right man for the job.

But come on, this is simply a coaching mistake. This is nothing more than that. It's a coaching blunder. It's not the first time a coach will make a mistake. It's not the last time. But anybody thinks that this was intentional, is delusional, and you don't know Doug. Doug would never, ever, ever do that. It's against everything he believes in. It's against his DNA. It's not who he is. So if you're on that side of the fence, if you're in that camp, think again, I know the guy very, very well. There's not a chance in the world that he would do that intentionally.

Coaching mistake, coaching blunder, yep.

And you can add that to the list of many others in my opinion, but that's all it is. So we can stop right there and stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.
