You know, when I watch the NBA playoffs, one thing that comes to mind is the top eight teams during the

regular season are the teams that are in the playoffs, meaning that Charlotte and Miami 9th and 10th

respectively, and in the West, the Clippers and Golden State, 9th and 10th, respectively,

did not advance out of the playing round, and that's the way it should be.

I'm not in the gimmicks.

I'm not into the NBA Cup in December or whenever the heck it is, and the game's leading up to that.

I'm not a fan of the proposed new lottery system.

I mean, it's too darn complicated, and I'm not a fan of having 10 teams qualify,

especially when one of those teams,

the Golden State Warriors, ended the season at 37 and 45. But, you know, at the end, we've got it

right. Portland, Phoenix, they represented the West as the seventh and eighth seeds. And in the

east, look what's going on with the Orlando Magic. Wow. Look at the Orlando Magic.

They are one win away from advancing.

They ended up at 45 and 37, a very respectable regular season.

Very respectable.

I mean, listen, I have no problem with a 45-win team going up against a team that won 60 and winning. That's the beauty

of sport. Give me the underdog. They haven't done it yet, but they are really close to knocking

off the top seed, the Detroit Pistons. And how about their defense? We saw it in the play-in game
