No, it's not Malik Monk.

It's Nas Reed of the Minnesota Timberwolves. You know, Reed had a

good year, 13 and a half points, 5.2 rebounds, Minnesota won 56 games and they

were a three seat. By the way it was a very close

vote according to the NBA the 10-point difference in voting totals was the

smallest margin since the present format in voting

began in the two thousand two thousand three season.

But let's talk about Malik Monk for a moment.

Malik Monk had an outstanding season,

averaging 15.4 points, 5.1 assist, both career highs.

Did the fact that he got hurt towards the end of the year affect that shouldn't have he was eligible he played in the minimum number of games for the award but how is it that Malik Monk is not the sixth man of the year.
