Well, the baseball season is one week old, and I don't know about you, but I am not a fan of the automated ball strike

system. The ABS certainly has been a big topic in week one. Now, I would say this, all right? It does

expose the very, I guess, bad umpires, like a CB Buckner, who in my opinion should have retired

a couple of years ago. I will give it that. But I was watching

No Filter Network, Eric Burns and Will Clark. And Burns asked Will if he liked the ABS system.

And he said no. And then he gave the reason why. And it was very similar to my comments that I made

on the radio yesterday on Fox Sports Sacramento. The game is played by humans.

I would like it officiated by humans.

And I think it's getting carried away.

And you're seeing some pitches missed by a hair, by a whisker.

And it counts against the umpire.

They have to change the call and it makes them look bad.

The reality is that most of the umpires are really good at what they do, not all, but most of them. And I just don't like it. I think it's a bad look for baseball. I know there are many people that disagree with me, but I love what Clark said. Clark slammed it and said exactly what I said. You know what? Why don't we have robots out on the field, both playing and umpiring?

Maybe that will make everybody happy.

I think that's where we're heading.

I really do.

The ABS system is not going anywhere.

It's here to stay.

But me personally, I'm not crazy about it.
