How would you like to be a fan of the Dallas Mavericks?

Yesterday, the team announced that they were raising ticket prices for next season

by an average of 8% citing investments in the team and fan engagement.

How about the nerve of the Mavericks?

You trade a young generational talent in Luca Donchitz to the Lakers for 31-year-old Anthony Davis,

who gets hurt in his first game, not that that's the fault of the Mavericks,

but still, 32 up and 30 down after last night's loss to the Kings, and oh yeah, Kyrie Irving injured his knee.

As I record this, still do not know exactly how long he will be out of action.

But here's what I do know. The Mavericks right now are a hot mess seriously can you imagine the outrage among maverick season

ticket holders to get that notice of an 8.6% increase in your season tickets after what the Mavericks did at the NBA trade deadline.

They are currently 10th in the West and they are very lucky that the sons behind them are

absolutely putrid right now or the Mavs might fall out of the damn thing altogether.

This is a mess.
