This goes into the category of some things you just can't make up.

Jimmy Butler, formerly of the Miami Heat, is being sued.

The suit alleges that he failed to pay $260,000 in rent at a house in Miami Beach.

The suit also alleges that he left behind more than $127,000 in damages.

How about that?

Now, let's talk a little bit about this house. The rent is $130,000 per month.

Think about that for a minute. 5,398 square feet built in 2016. It has five bedrooms, six bathrooms.

The house was built on a canal in South Florida, and also has a pool.

But the lawsuit gets even more interesting because it alleges that Butler had the locks on the house changed and would not give a key to the property owner, also alleging that he kept maintenance workers from entering

the home. Butler also is alleged to have maintained the maintenance on the swimming pool and

the air conditioning, the latter leading to extensive mold that required the replacement of

ceilings and floors on the property.

The plaintiff is seeking a payment of over $250,000 and also the right to keep Butler's

$130,000 security deposit.
