Timberwolves can say goodbye to 2006.

The Kings have had a glorious year, 45 up, 29 down. The Golden One Center tonight

should be off the freaking hook. The atmosphere could be at an all-time high to now start talking about the

present and the future and say goodbye to 16 seasons of futility, 16 seasons of losing basketball,

16 seasons of no playoff appearances,

and it can all change with a win tonight

against Minnesota.

Sacramento, third in the west, two games behind Memphis.

They have a six game lead in the loss column over fourth place Phoenix.

The Clippers are in fifth, Golden State and Minnesota and New Orleans all with 37 losses, 6th, 7th and 8th respectively.

The Lakers are 9th and Oklahoma City is 10th with 38 losses. The Kings are going to the playoffs. They'll make

it official tonight if they can beat the Timberwolves who are playing very

well but they had a tough game last night they beat beat the Golden State Warriors. They come in a little tired. The Kings need to take advantage of that.
