World Baseball Classic? I got to be honest with you. I wasn't even aware that it was

going on. Now I ask that same question to the fans of the New York Mets.

Ask them about the WBC, how they feel about the WBC, and it would be very

interesting to hear their comments on this morning. You know why? Because their

stud closer, Edwin Diaz was pitching for Puerto Rico, closing the game

against the Dominican Republic in Miami last night.

Okay? And after a strikeout to seal a 5-2 victory,

he injured his knee in a celebration on the infield as I am recording this rant. We don't

know the severity of the injury although it certainly does not look good he was an immense

pain he couldn't put any weight on his leg he had to be carried off the field he was later wheeled off to receive medical attention.

Again, MRI scheduled for today, but the concern is that this injury will keep him out for a significant period of time.

We are talking about the closer for the New York Mets who have spent a lot of money in the off season to

solidify their team starting with Justin Verlander. Diaz is a huge piece to

what the Mets are planning on doing this year. He may not even be on the

field. So again, let me ask the fans of the New York metropolitan's, how do you feel about the W-B- it? Think it's a good idea? What do you think about
