Congratulations to LeBron James that was a heck of a scene last night in Los Angeles,

as he is now the NBA's all-time leading score.

I'm blessed to say that I had a chance to announce

the first 25 points of his career 20 years ago in October of 2003 at Arco Arena and there are a couple of things

that stand out to me from that night first and foremost the first time I saw LeBron James come on to the floor.

I was like wow this guy's 18 years old and has an NBA body.

The second thing that I'll never forget is Jerry Reynolds during the game, after watching

LeBron James play for a couple of quarters said barring injury we may be talking about a guy that will go down as the greatest player in NBA history

You can certainly make that argument with LeBron James, 38 years old and still going

strong. Something else that really stood out to me last night is how bad the

NBA game has gotten and how bad the Lakers are. They're not even close

to being a good team. Absolutely no defense being played on either side of the

floor. It's just a three-point shooting contest. The NBA game has suffered over the last couple of years.

And what's really too bad is that you had a lot of people that were casually watching a game last night just to see LeBron break the record,

not hardcore NBA fans, not every night NBA fans.

And what must have they thought after watching that game?
