Yesterday is was revealed by ESPN that 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a torn ligament as well as a fracture in his thumb on his throwing hand. On Friday past I did a rant on how I thought Jimmy G was one of the most underappreciated players in the NFL. He was getting killed by fans and members of the media after Thursday's loss at Tennessee. Now what do you say 49er fans? You wanted Trey Lance and it looks like you will get Trey Lance. 0:41.6	Well yesterday it was revealed that in the second quarter of that game he broke his thumb
0:45.8	and tore a ligament in his thumb, played the rest of the game.
0:48.6	Now you can look at this a couple of different ways.
0:50.5	Number one, you can say what the hell of the 49ers doing, having a quarterback with that type of an injury still playing and not going to the backup?

1:00.4	This guy is tough as nails, doing everything in his power to try to help his football team win.
1:05.0	Here's the bottom line. You want a Trey Lance? Looks like you're going to get Trey Lance and be careful what you wish for.
1:12.0	And I'm not saying that Lance someday won't be very very good but to me he doesn't give the 49ers their best chance to win.
