I thought the identity of the Sacramento Kings this year was going to be defense.

I heard Luke Walton talk about that in training camp. I heard the

other players talk about that for weeks leading up to the first game and then

during the first week of the season it was defense this, defense that. And now we're 11 games into the NBA season and

once again the King's defense is not very good as a matter of fact there only four

teams that's right only four teams in the conference who allow more points per game than

the Sacramento Kings at just under 110 a contest.

You saw the pitiful defense last night in the first half and then don't even get me started about that third quarter which was the King's worst quarter of the year

So they were a game under 500 which is an improvement from last year and I guess you could

say their defense is an improvement from last year which was by far the worst in the

NBA and really the worst defense we'd ever seen in

NBA history.

So if you're looking for a silver lining,

I guess that's it.
