what a day yesterday was first you have the terse statement from

MBA Commissioner Adam Silver finally coming out and condemning a player

then you had the Brooklynettes releasing a statement saying that they

were suspending Kyrie Irving for at least five games.

You don't need me to tell you why.

And then three hours after that,

Kyrie Irving went to Instagram to finally say,

I am sorry.

You just can't make this stuff up.

You really can't. Why did it take a week to get to this point?

Why was it that we didn't hear that terse of a statement from Adam Silver last week. Why did it have to wait all the way until

Thursday?

Here's the bottom line. The NBA and the nets threw a lifeboat out to Kyrie Irving.

Irving chose not to get in the boat. And so when he addressed the media earlier yesterday, there was no, I am sorry.
