I've known Mike for a long time.

I consider him a friend, of course an excellent NFL journalist, writer. He comes out on Twitter on Tuesday and

announces that he is no longer with the NFL network at NFL.com and that he is going to work with Bally Sports and they would have a lot more

information in the near future. Moments later he comes out with a story on Houston, Texas Chairman and CEO Cal McNair who was

at a charity golf tournament speaking five months ago to a group of over 100 people. golf tournaments

and

and reference to COVID-19 virus as the China virus.

That's five months ago.

Haven't heard a word about it. Over a hundred people there.

Nobody said anything. Mike Silver resigns from the NFL network and moments later

has a story and exclusive on Cal McNair using the term China virus.

Now McNair comes out and makes an apology on Tuesday, the day that Mike Silver broke the story, my question is, how come this wasn't

on the NFL network? Did the NFL network say, nope, you can't talk about that?
