Hi good everybody, it is time for Grant's rant and today we talk about the NBA.

Now they're trying to get on the court playing games by December 22nd. That's the word. Why? Very simple. It means

about an extra $500 million to the gross revenue of the league if they're up and playing

by Christmas and we know they lost a ton of money last season and so yeah comes down to economics I get that but don't tell that to Danny Green of the Lakers who said quote if we start in December I think most guys are like I'm not going to be there to have that quick of a restart.

I wouldn't expect LeBron to be there for the first month of the season.

Hey Danny I think LeBron can speak for himself. I really do. You don't need to be speaking for LeBron James I think he's got it that's number one

Danny I don't know if you're wherever it or not but we are in a pandemic and there have been a ton of people that have lost their jobs and are doing everything that they can to feed their families and they're working their ass off.

And the last thing they want to hear is you bitching and complaining because you just went through the

NBA finals and now you're complaining that in two months you're going to have to

be playing games again. Oh poor Danny Green only two months before you have to get

back on to the court. Hey Danny let me break something to you all right you didn't

play the last half of March you didn't play in April you didn't play in May you didn't play in June you

didn't play in July shut up dandy would you please seriously I mean I don't know if you're

aware of this dandy but players every four years go from the Olympics right in the NBA training camp basically and the world games where players are playing all summer

They get a couple of weeks off and then they're back playing.

Danny I don't know if you remember this in the NBA like the Caron balloons of the world and Michael Jordan and Larry Bird and I can go on and on.

They played all 82 games and you know what? They practiced every day. Not in 2020. Uh-uh.

No, you got to have your rest. You can't do this. You can't do that. Let me bitch and
