Summary

Hey, everything I rant on isn't sports.  Scot and I experienced and complained about the absurdity of 4 way stop signs but in Indianapolis,  roundabouts make all the difference.  Who's dumb idea is it to keep those stupid 4 way stops when we could keep things moving smoothly at the intersection?  Our thoughts are similar as you'll find out as we hang out in Carmel...Indiana.  And just so you know, it's pronounced like the candy not the city in California by the bay.   Learn more about your ad choices. Now, you've heard me in the past talk about metered ramps

and how I think they are the stupidest invention in the freaking world.

arguments with traffic engineers. I don't want to hear from it. It is ridiculous. I refuse to stop at these damn meter ramps.

However, I go to Carmel, Indiana, and they have a great invention, okay? It's called roundabouts instead of four-way stop signs.

0:45.3

The traffic is not backed up everywhere,

0:47.3

but I don't see that in other neighborhoods around the country.

0:50.0

I gotta come halfway across the country

0:52.3

to Carmel, Indiana to have roundabouts where the traffic

0:55.6

is not backed up for freaking, you know, a quarter of a block.

0:59.1

Now am I right or wrong there?

1:00.3

I will join in with that because on the same token that the people are

1:04.3

talking about emissions and problems with exhaust what do you do when you stop at a

1:08.4

metered ramp to get to 65 you floor it guess what that's a whole lot more admissions than if you just coast into it and accelerate at a normal

1:15.5

pace.

1:16.5

So you floor it from the meter traffic and you're adding more pollution to a state that already
