It's time for Grant's, and I've never had anyone help me, but you are going to help me today.

It is now time for Grant's rant.

Now, you've heard me in the past talk about metered ramps

and how I think they are the stupidest invention in the freaking world.

I've never understood why when you are trying to merge on to a highway

where people are going 65 and 70

miles an hour you have to come to a complete stop and wait for the

freaking light to turn green. It is the stupidest, most ridiculous. I've had

arguments with traffic engineers. I don't want to hear from it. It is ridiculous. I refuse to stop at these damn meter ramps.

However, I go to Carmel, Indiana, and they have a great invention, okay? It's called roundabouts instead of four-way stop signs.

The traffic is not backed up everywhere,

but I don't see that in other neighborhoods around the country.

I gotta come halfway across the country

to Carmel, Indiana to have roundabouts where the traffic

is not backed up for freaking, you know, a quarter of a block.

Now am I right or wrong there?

I will join in with that because on the same token that the people are

talking about emissions and problems with exhaust what do you do when you stop at a

metered ramp to get to 65 you floor it guess what that's a whole lot more admissions than if you just coast into it and accelerate at a normal

pace.

So you floor it from the meter traffic and you're adding more pollution to a state that already
