Now you may remember it was nearly two years ago to the day that Leonard was playing a video game and uttered an anti-Semitic

slur. He was subsequently suspended for one week while a member of the Miami Heat and fined $50,000.

He was subsequently traded to Oklahoma City and quickly released.

Last month he appeared on ESPNs outside the lines and he said,

quote, you better go handle this

and to show people what's in your heart.

I thought that would be easier to be dead

than it would be to deal with what it just happened.

Because I want everyone to like me.

I don't hate anybody.

I would never intentionally hurt anybody.
