It's time for Rant, France, Rant.

I've already got the rant picked out.

This is Frank Isola and Brian Scalabrini talking about load management.

Start the season earlier, play two games a week for, I would say, at this point for the first month of the season.

That's rest and practice time that you're going to get the first month as you forget about the preseason. One game or two games each and then we're often running with the regular season. Also, get rid of scoring averages and rebounds. Everything is total. So maybe now you'll get guys on the second night of a back-to-back. Maybe they'll play in the second half.

Like if Steph Curry got himself ready to go and just played the final, like 18 minutes

in the second half, that wouldn't be good for the Warriors? I get it, that resting completely

is more beneficial, but maybe that's something teams would factor in. They have to look at

other ways. It's such that some studies, because guess what? This is, to Brian's point, this is the warriors looking at the schedule. Guys are a little banged up. They don't play until Friday and they're saying, you know what, what are we doing here? Come on. Enough is enough. Our 17 game, it's ridiculous. We're not playing. So here's the bottom line. This is all because of the Golden State Warriors.

Let's just call it the way it is. This is now being discussed because of Steve Kerr.

Steve Kerr is the biggest culprit of this and has been the biggest culprit of this

after Greg Popovich started it being fashionable. This was never an issue before.

And I understand we played a soundbite from Steve Kerr the other day talking about pace

and how the game's different and it might be more difficult physically.

That may be true, but the game is as easy as it's been in terms of travel and things of that nature.

And load management doesn't seem to be as big of an issue anywhere except for with Steve Kerr and the Warriors.

So now we've got to change everything around because of Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors.
