Well, the NFL league meetings are underway in Arizona, and there's a lot going on as every year.

But when you watch football this fall, you may not be seeing the regular officials.

Mike Pereira, a former NFL official, former head of the NFL referees, and you see him on the NFL on Fox.

Labor situation going on between officials and the league.

You've been through this before, but does this particular

2026 instance seem different to you? Does it have a different field than what you've

experienced in your career in the past to negotiations? Yeah, it certainly does. And I think

really the reason why it does is because what the league has done

today, where basically they would expand the use of replay in New York to assist the officials

that they bring in. I think that's a big deal. I mean, obviously when we went through that in 2000 i went through it in

2001 my first year is head of the department the officiating department and literally i remember

paul taggibu coming in my office and i don't remember the exact time frame but he said
