I love Open Forum Wednesdays and that's where we are and we are a little more than 25 hours

away from the start of the National Football League season.

News of the day, boy, it's been a long time coming.

The American drought and men's tennis now of course without no about

Jokovic there I mean to me everything is an asterisk but Francis TFO is the

first American to make the US open semi-finals since 2006. Now again I put an

asterisked to it without Novak the best tennis player in the world and arguably the greatest tennis player

would ever live because of the absurdity of the United States government as it

relates to not allowing unvaccinated people into the country. I mean again stupidity beyond belief but TFO that's a great job by him

straight set victory and he is on his way feeding Andre Rublev to the semi-finals.

You know, the last US player on the men's side to get to the semifinals was Andy Roddick.

All right? Now he lost to Roger Federer

16 years ago in the semis, but think about that.

Andy Roddick, the last American men's tennis player. Now it doesn't diminish to me TFO's

great run at the US Open but when you don't have the best player in the world in the tournament, it definitely

changes the draw. There's no doubt about that, that's for sure. All right, so we got that to talk about something
