Our later today due to a commitment that I had,

but with you now and will be with you for as long as you would like.

I really want to thank those that listen to the show yesterday and called in and talked about

what obviously needed to be discussed and we'll start slowly but surely getting back to sports but I also will welcome phone calls on

you know the important topics that are going on in our world and anyone that's

listened to me over the decades I've always tried to stay away from politics I've tried

to stay away from politics. I've tried to stay away from sexuality. I've tried my best to

stay away from white versus black, black versus white, other ethnicities.

I've really tried.

Sometimes that's unavoidable, but the point is

I've done my best over the years to avoid a lot of the topics where quite frankly you can't win and by that I mean

if I'm going to talk about politics I'm going to talk about politics, I'm going to upset 50% of my audience.

And it really doesn't matter what side of the fence that I'm on.

And so I have just always tried to stay away from that.

The one thing I will say over the past 48 hours is,

it doesn't take a rocket scientist,

it doesn't take a genius to understand why our country is as troubled as it is.

I did a podcast on Tuesday and basically it was about how disturbing several events have been in the month of May as it relates to racism.

And I ended the podcast by saying,
