Do you ever sometimes miss being a little kid at like your grandma's house because she was always cooking something and that woman never met a recipe?

We always have an odd woman in the crowd.

No, it doesn't strike me as a little bit odd.

It's the Bob and Sherry oddcast with stuff we wouldn't, couldn't, or shouldn't do on the regular

show. Now, here's the odd cast. So I was reading this really wonderful little story on the internet

about how once upon a time, grandmas cooked like these certain dishes. You ate them all the time

growing up and none of them

had a recipe and it changed depending on what grandma had in the house. So for example,

a little bit of everything soup. Whatever she was emptying out of the refrigerator, right,

went into that soup and it might have potatoes in it or not.

It might have carrots. It might have chicken. It might have leftover sausage. It might have all those

things. But you're no recipe, seasoned by taste, using whatever was had. And it changed all the time.

It was never the same soup twice, but it was your favorite soup.

And people don't do that anymore, which I disagree with.

I think people, not everybody, I think a lot of people still do cook this way.
