Mr. Rooster, welcome to the show.

0:01.7

Well, thank you. Thank you for having me.

0:03.1

Why did they call you Rooster?

0:05.6

Well, I fought, my papo fought me like a chicken when I was little.

0:11.4

And I played with a lot of chickens and stuff like that.

0:14.0

I don't know, I guess because I'm red-headed.

0:16.1

Well, we can't really see it.

0:17.2

You got the hat on.

0:18.0

I know, because half of it's gone.

0:19.5

That's why I keep my hat on.

0:20.5

So what's your full name for the audience? Jeremy Matthew Holt. Did you ever think you'd be doing a podcast while you're actually in the jail right now? Never, never. It's on tell what this guy I have you doing over there. He was on the show. He was in the hot seat. I asked him the tough questions. I know. He comes down there crying about it. Should it just got done with mine, yeah.

1:11.1

Is there ever a question that you want to ask to a jailer before? Like that you want the world to ask? To a jailer? Yeah, to a jailer. Just when do I get out? That's funny. You know, he said that you were the right man to do this interview because you are a great talker. And you have a great nickname. Thank you. So a little bit about the show that you're on. It's called Locked in. Wonderful. Am I going to making money off of it? No, there's no money involved. He lied to me. What did he promise you? I ain't going to tell you that. Okay. I heard it gets you guys good food on Fridays or every other Friday. He's still bragging about that stuff. What? They cut it? Once the week. Once every other week, ain't it? Wait, what's the best meal you've gotten on a Friday here? Baconators. From Wendy's, right? Yeah, we're kind of strung out on them down here. It is really cool because you know in the feds we didn't have that. And in the feds you got a lot of stuff. Okay, let's compare misconceptions. What do you think that we have that you don't? Well, in the feds, you all got a lot better food, a lot better facilities. I mean mean unless you're in a usp or a medium or something

1:46.5

like that you was in a camp right i was uh at a low first that's where they all thought i was a

1:52.5

did you go to Atlanta or anywhere like that or i went through no i didn't go through there i was in

1:57.3

new jersey fort dix and then i got uh i was in oklahoma city that's a little bit kind of near here right and then i was in chicago and then I was in New Jersey, Fort Dix, and then I got a, I was in Oklahoma City. That's a little bit kind of near here, right? And then I was in Chicago, and then I was in Oxford, Wisconsin. Why don't they're bouncing around so much? Variety reasons, not because of paperwork. It's straight. I didn't support no favors or nothing. No, I actually went to trial, but the first place. Feds? Yeah, how much time do you get? Three years. I got less time going to trial than I did the plea deal that they were offering. They offered like almost five. Yeah, but they go by guidelines, severity of crime and past offenses. Yeah, but when you go to trial and lose, they up the ante on you. Yeah, but by the guidelines, they can't, because if I've been locked up with a lot of people doing Fed time, and if you ain't had no priors or nothing like that, you can rob a bank and get hardly nothing. I'm doing 10 years right now for a truck with the keys in it. A truck with the keys? Yes, sir. You stole the keys? No, I stole the truck.

2:51.9

It just had the keys in it. All right, we'll get to that part. But yeah, I got caught with a cell phone in the feds, and then I dated a guard's cousin, and that was a conflict of interest at the next prison I was at. Right. And then they kind of shipped me all over, diesel therapy. Yeah, I've heard of that.

2:47.7

You don't even get to stay

2:48.5

catch your mail or nothing, do you?

2:50.3

Yeah, well, so you're the first person I've sat down with that actually gave me a little bit of credit. I said, what do you think I was in prison? You said a fraud guy. But most of the time, they do say I'm a tromo. That's a bad label right there.

3:24.9

It's the glasses and the cheeks, the red cheeks and the young look.

3:27.7

You look like you're about 18 anyways.

3:29.8

Oh, 29.
