It's been a crazy and tragic newsday. We are tracking an ongoing shakeup at the Centers for Disease Control, which broke just an hour ago. Just a few hours ago, the director was fired after only a month on the job,

or at least, and at least four other officials has submitted the resignations tonight.

Now, though, the director of the CDC, Dr. Monaris, says, through her lawyer, she has not been

fired, but is being pressured by the administration. We're trying to figure out what's going

on there. We're going on that coming up. We're also, of course, covering the school shooting in

Minneapolis earlier today. Two children ages eight and ten were killed. 17 people were hurt.

At this moment, multiple visuals are being held to honor the dead and the injured and to give

comfort and succor to the families and community. Just horrific. Unspeakable story. We're going to bring you some more on that. I got a chance to talk to Amy Klobuchar.
