Today there is some breaking news, if you haven't already heard it on one of the news stations. A secret grand jury

has indicted Brian Coburger for four counts of murder first degree, in addition, burglary.

But this means this is a big deal, because this means the preliminary hearing scheduled for June 26. There's now no need

for that. He's already been indicted. So the hearing where the judge would hear of evidence,

and determine this probable cause hearing, the grand jury has returned the true bill and

indicted him for four counts of murder as well as burglary first degree.

So he's being charged with the stabbing deaths of Ethan Chapin, Zena Connold, Madison, Mogan, and Kaylee Gonzalez.

This is a really big deal.

I think strategically it was probably good strategy by the prosecution.

All these hearings which just made them sort of show their hand to the defense and releasing all of the evidence that they had in regards to this.

grand jury, a grand jury sits in secret and they don't, well, if the prosecutor determines to release the fact that there was a true bill, which means an indictment, that is up to the prosecutor.
