Hi, everybody. It's a mutant mayhem kind of weekend. I know. Great. I've been looking forward to talking to you all week because I wanted to hear your thoughts.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back, but when I say back, that implies that they left, which they never did.

And what's different about this version is that it comes to you from Seth Rogan. So you can imagine like the tone of it being a lot funnier than usual.

The kids that play the turtles are like mid teens age and they also recorded the dialogue in the same room.

Oh, as opposed to just reading by themselves. Also, they could see each other's faces and react accordingly.

Exactly. And so I think that that makes a huge difference in how fun this movie is.

It is definitely a blast and way more fun than the last versions of the turtles.

Like they were trying to make them all like the Batman begins dark night version of the turtles.

And it's like everybody relax. Yeah, I wasn't I wasn't a big fan of those turtles because first of all, they didn't look anything like any teenagers. I know.

And they didn't sound like teenagers, but these ones do that they look young. They sound young.

Right. And they definitely are friends that makes a huge difference in this story, which we've all seen before as far as the plot of this movie goes.

It's a little bit more origin story than a lot of turtle stuff has been lately, but you know, it's like.

Oh, the ooze gets in the sewer and you meet splinter who's voiced by the legend Jackie Jam nice.

Oh, Jackie. So great. And then you kind of see what happens when they become teenagers living in the sewers of New York.

And they just like kind of want to join everybody in the city, but splinter has like very definite thoughts about that.

And so when the bad guy of the story super fly, who is the voice of ice cube, right when he comes in essentially destroy the city and kill all the humans, the turtles have to step in.

So you get the typical bebop and rock steady appearances. However, because this is mutant mayhem.

You also see a ton of different mutants that I don't ever remember seeing before personally.

So it's super funny. I was totally interested and I will tell you that the time flew by.

It felt like my favorite length of film, which is that's right.

It felt that long to me. I was like, dang, this movie's over already. There's four Ninja Turtles. Donatello, Raphael Leonardo and Michelangelo.
