Scott, for the first time since 2016, we are recording a podcast and the Yankees are officially out of playoff contention.

when i saw the tweet and the the stat pulled that what since august 28th the yankees have the

best record in baseball.

Fuck you for that stat. That's all I have to say. You know what I'm saying? It's like that that is such a bullshit stat that means nothing to anybody except just a kick in the nuts. Like just don't show. Oh, but you know, you know Boone and like cash were pounding their chests about that. The only thing that can come from that number with the Yankees missing the playoffs is

the lack of change and excuses being pointed to while we finish the season strong.

I don't even know how that happened, to be honest.

You look at the numbers of individual players and the players' stats are still bad.

Yeah, don't look at the Yankees.

Look at who they've been playing.

That's how it happened.
