I've been sharing from Romans chapter 6,

and in three times I've covered 11 verses.

I'm sped up because Thursday night I covered two verses,

and then I covered four verses,

and then I've covered five verses this morning. So we have gone

from Romans chapter six verse one down through verse 11. And I haven't got time to go back and

summarize all of that, but everything I'm going to teach tonight is dependent upon what was already

said about how that we are dead to sin. all of that, but everything I'm going to teach tonight is dependent upon what was already said

about how that we are dead to sin. And that doesn't mean that it's incapable for a Christian to

sin, but your spirit, it's impossible for your spirit to sin. Your spirit is born again,

and your old nature is gone. You do not have an old man or an old

nature that compels you to sin. Because of observation, a lot of people believe that so because they can

sin with the best of them. It seems like that they are tempted all of the time and they just think that

there's a part of them that is part devil.

I wish I had time to go into Romans chapter 7, but people will use these verses where Paul talks about the good that I want to do.

I can't do the bad things that I don't want to do.

I wind up doing.

And people use that as a normal experience for a

Christian. And that is not what this is talking about. Paul, the guy who wrote half of the books
