Let's turn back over to Romans, chapter six.

I've ministered twice and covered six verses.

But you know, one of the things I've learned is that, man,

I just don't hurry through the word.

It's not how many chapters you read. It's how much you get out of what you read.

And, you know, I spent one entire year in Ephesians chapter four, about verse 16 through verse 24. I spent a year studying that, and I probably had over a dozen of

the teachings that I have books and things like that came out of that study. It's one of the

most productive years of study that I ever had on just a few verses. Now, of course, I'd turn to

many other scriptures as I studied it,

you know, and look at it. And so I'm not saying those are the only verses that I read,

but that was my focus. And it was very powerful. So it's not about how much material you cover.

It's how much you get out of the word. And I tell you, the word of God is deep. Let me just put in a

statement. This has nothing to do with what I'm going to say today. But one of the things I dislike

about some of the commentaries or even translations is that they try and make the Bible so simple

that they take away the depth of it.

They take one truth from that scripture and portray that, but it's just surface level.

And you read it, and once you read it, you got it.

But, you know, one of the things about the King James is you can read this, and I've read some of these verses a thousand times,

and the way it's written in kind of a poetical style, and sometimes the words aren't words
