All right, welcome to the Deepen podcast.

We are starting a new series, and this is a special one because it goes in line with Pastor

Joby, your third book, run over by the grace chain.

So you are three years, three books, and so this feels like you're just going to write a book

a year forever and ever.

Not exactly, but, you know, God brought my buddy Charles Martin into my life

and at just the right time. I propose we do these things together, and that's exactly what we do.

We do them together. He is an accomplished author, has written, what did you just say,

18 novels. Yep. A couple of New York Times bestsellers becoming movies, all the things.

And so he helps me take content that I feel like God gives me for, primarily just for

our church and then helps it go from like stage to page, you know.

And so that's what we do.

And I just hope that they are, I hope lost people

will meet Jesus. That happens, that just happened a lot in the first two. One of the things I didn't

realize about books, because this is all new to me, is like, like the shelf life of a book is a lot

longer than a sermon. I mean, I get an email a week from people all over the country that have

just picked up, maybe if the tomb is empty or something, and get saved, or something happens in

their life. I rarely get that about sermons that are, you know, two years old. Yeah. So that's cool.
