When he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written.

This is actually written about himself by Isaiah.

Isaiah 61. It says, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the

gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the

captives and recovery of sight to the blind,

to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Just give you a picture. Jesus is grabbing a scroll from the prophet Isaiah. Now, let's just be on the

same page. The prophet Isaiah, years, let's just be on the same page.

The prophet Isaiah, years before Jesus came, prophesied a whole lot about Jesus.

Jesus says he grabs the scroll, let's be honest.

He could have read so much of the prophecy about himself.

How about Isaiah chapter 9?
