0:28.9	As far as I can tell, I think we all survived this week's FEMA emergency alert.

0:39.8	conspiracy theorists said that the government was using the emergency alerts that we all got on
0:43.8	our phones this week to trigger blood-borne slash maybe bat-related question mark illnesses in people
0:52.3	who were vaccinated? Yeah, I think those were the conspiracy series.
0:56.5	I was pretty impressed by how quickly they came together
0:58.9	because I didn't hear that that alert was going to happen
1:02.4	until like a day or two before it did.
1:06.1	Maybe the conspiracy people are like really plugged in
1:10.5	to when FEMA is scheduling these alerts. But
1:13.1	I feel like they really pulled this conspiracy together in like 48 hours. Oh, you think
1:19.3	conspiracy theorists who gather online are not plugged into what FEMA is doing. They don't,
1:24.1	they're not like super on that. I'm sure that's on their radar. Listen, I knew I wanted to do a little bit of like brief banter on this on the pod, but part of me was sort of like, let's wait until after the alert, you know, just in case. Let's just be, let's just cover all of our bases. Let's plan to do this after, but after we make it through the alerts. There was a tiny part of me that was like,
1:45.4	wouldn't it just be funny if we did all start, like, bleeding from our eyeballs and turn into
1:50.3	zombie bats? It would serve us right for doubting them in the first place. In case it's not clear,
1:56.9	obviously those conspiracy theories were completely baseless, despite the fact that people reported that they were planning on turning off their power, turning off their phones to protect themselves from what ended up not happening. Nobody got sick. It was all just a conspiracy theory.
