Right up to the end of her life, Evelyn Christensen was asking the Lord to help her grow and learn.

Here's how she was praying at 80 years old.

Keep me faithful, Lord. That's what I'm saying at this age.

And the hardest transition, by the way, is when you have to start peeling off, not doing what you want to do because there isn't enough

strength and all that.

But to stay faithful.

And these years, this is what I'm learning now.

So I'm never done.

I'll never be done with Lord Change Me.

Never.

Well, if you've listened to this program for any length of time, you've probably heard me say at some point that one of my goals in life, ever since I was a little girl, has always been to be a godly old lady.

So over the years, I've always looked for examples of women who are the kind of woman I'd like to be as I get older.

And Evelyn Christensen, name that is familiar to many of you, was one of those examples for me

for many years before she went home to be with the Lord in 2011.
