It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

It's Friday, of the end of the week and hopefully you've earned yourself a little bit of rest.

Little time off from serving your neighbor and your vocation,

spend some time recharging your batteries with your family and I got to tell you every one of you

who's out there working and serving your neighbor and whatever vocation God has put you in

whether it's trash collector, cleaning lady, or doctor or nurse or restaurant

waitress, I gotta thank you for the service that you do for us in the vocation that God has put you in.

My name is Chris Rosebrough and I'm your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program

that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of which is to get you to think

biblically, to get you to think critically, and to compare what people are saying in the

name of God to the word of God.

Why? Well, because there's a lot of people out there making claims about God,

but their claims are, it's like they're just pulling stuff out of midair and saying,

see, here's a claim about God.

But see, that's the thing.

If somebody's making a claim about God or spirituality or

eternity or something bigger than us.

If it doesn't jive with God's word with scriptures, they're just making things up

and you shouldn't be believing them them. Yeah, at all.

And the problem is that the people I'm talking about are not people outside of the church.

There are people within the church.
