Dave and Grace, like many storytellers before them, loved their church and their community.

They weren't seeking to be contrary. They bent, compromised, and pursued all avenues to

understand, to listen, to reason, and to love.

But as Grace began to read, question, and study on her own, they were treated like their

story does not matter, and their questions were not welcomed there.

They lost their church, their community, and their friends.
