Do you think of yourself as a steward, a manager of God's grace?

We've been appointed to look carefully over how his grace is being doled out.

And because our king is lavish and his storehouse will never run out,

we don't get to be stingy or clothes-fisted with his grace.

We need to pour it out.

Our host is the co-author of the study Seeking Him, Nancy DeMas welcoming. I'm no mechanic, for sure, but I know enough to know that oil is important to any vehicle or gas-powered tool.

If all the oil leaks out, the engine's going to seize up. Friction builds,

things overheat, and pretty soon your lawnmower dies or you're stuck on the side of the road

calling a tow truck. Well, in the same way that a properly lubricated engine can handle friction, relationships also need to

understand how to cut down on friction. And that's where the oil of God's spirit and his grace

comes in. We'll hear about that today. Our guest is Chisaruke Anderson. Most people in this

country call her cheesy. She's Nigerian-American.

And Chizi's an author and a speaker for our partner ministry, True Girl, where she's the host of a monthly online Bible study for Twins.

Cheezy and her husband, David, have three daughters. And at a recent Revive, Cheezy spoke on this topic of grace.

In the messages leading up to Cheezy at that conference, we'd spent a lot of time talking

through some difficult topics that had to do with repentance and humility and honesty,

all things that are needed to experience personal revival. So when Cheesy got up to talk about the

grace of God, she started by reflecting on some of what we'd already heard that day. Here's Cheezy Anderson.
