Welcome to the GoValls 24-7 podcast. I am Patrick Brown, and I'm joined by Ryan Callahan, who, if you're watching on the live stream, is not this short in real life. It's the chairs. We're just making it work here in the Mississippi State radio booth here at Davis-Waid Stadium. They're still watering the field. The lights are still on. But it has been a few hours now since Tennessee's wild, 4134 overtime win here against the Bulldogs.

And even now, you're still kind of processing everything. Ryan, there's so much happened in this game.

Even Josh Hypo's asked about a clock management sequence, not the clock management sequence, but the other one at the end of the first half.

And he had to be like,

can you refresh me on which one that was again? It was just such a wild game with so many

wild swings and many things happened. But we have plenty of coverage up on the site already to go

check it out from Ryan, myself, and Ben McKee. So lots of stuff going on, lots of things to talk about

in this game. And at the end of the day, though, Ryan, Tennessee gets out of here with the win,

which was, that's obviously it, a lot to clean up.

They won kind of in spite of themselves.

But you have to credit Tennessee for playing through some ups and downs and making the plays

in fourth quarter in overtime when they needed to and getting out of here with a win and going into your open date four and one

very well still everything's still very much in front of this team yeah pretty impressive for

tennessee to show the the mental toughness to come into an environment like this i mean i think a lot

of these guys ears will be ringing for the next couple days uh after dealing with the cowbells. This is my experience down here. It sounds like that this was

about about as good as this place gets. But I can tell you, even up here at the, you know,

two-thirds of the way up the stadium with the cowbells, my ears were almost ringing at the end

of the game. it's a lot to

deal with and for the players to deal with that to deal with all the all the ups and downs of this game

and to still find a way to pull it out in the end after being down seven with about eight minutes to go and

and starting that drive a nice six minute drive to including a fourth down conversion conversion to find a way to tie the game,

get it to overtime, had a chance to win at the end of regulation that obviously a lot of people
