We are going to talk now about something closer to home.

We've been talking about Washington, of course, in the first segment,

but Governor Newsom just today lifted a stay-at-home order across the whole state.

This allows reopening of outdoor dining and other services,

and counties will be moving back into the color tier system to determine how and when to reopen.

The move comes as health officials are reporting a decline in new infections over the past week,

as well as a dip in hospitalizations.
