Well, on Monday, it was announced that a federal district court threw out the anti-trust

allegations of the federal government against Facebook.

The government was accusing Facebook of being a monopoly based on the fact that it acquired

Instagram and WhatsApp.

So now it was so dominant in social media and messaging to constitute a monopoly that the

government somehow needed to break up under anti-trust acts.

Now the district court threw it out, hopefully for good.

As a result of this ruling, shares of Facebook hit a new all-time record high.

In fact, Facebook has now joined a very select club of stocks that have market caps in excess

of $1 trillion.

They are Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and Alphabet.

If you don't know, Alphabet is the name of the company that owns Google.

But those are now the companies with trillion dollar market caps.

Now you can add Facebook into the mix.
